PARIS — Netgem announces the acquisition of the assets of Comcable, a local Very High Speed operator on public initiative networks.
This operation will be carried out via Netgem’s French subsidiary, which will manage the 3,500 subscribers taken over, and will provide them in particular with the latest innovations of the VIDEOFUTUR offer such as the multi-screen TV streaming service myVIDEOFUTUR and the 4K Box.
Comcable’s founder, Philippe Le Gall, joins Netgem’s team to ensure continuity and brings his expertise in Very High Speed internet access.
For Mathias Hautefort, CEO of Netgem, “This operation allows us to consolidate our objectives for new subscribers acquisition in 2020 and to offset the commercial impact linked to confinement measures, while preserving our objectives of controlling customer acquisition costs, with a cash return on investment within less than two years”.
Netgem strengthens its positions in Ile-de-France, mainly in the departments of Seine-et-Marne and Essonne, and also in the Somme, Alsace, Doubs, Manche, the European Metropolis of Lille, Moselle and Meurthe-et-Moselle, and establishes itself on the public network of Jura.
